The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 人设太有代表性了，这么看来让他们每年聊聊热点事件就能完成节目了，有料有趣却又无聊，请不要用这个系列代替黑镜圣诞篇… “纪念”每年被封S的明星那段倒是有创意。

很讽刺的，人们一点也没从2020的教训中学到任何东西，对中国的偏见依旧是不变……甚至还和印度相提并论了……
（ps：个人认为影片整体传达观点全面而客观，但其反讽演绎形式需要观众有独立思考，不易愤怒的基本素养）

好烂。纪录片干瘪，讽刺剧乏味，网飞就是个骗子公司……
不如去年的好笑了。不怪电影本身，只是2021年连调侃都显得很悲哀。
“我们都在努力寻找，那个能接受我们假面下真实自我的人；不放弃，继续寻找，方可有一丝机会能找到的人。只要遇到那样的人，哪怕人生天翻地覆也在所不惜吧。”

2021真的死了，因为2022来了。。sigh
十分有趣的美国人看世界的纪录片，2021真是既糟糕又混乱，充斥着越来越多的对立和消极情绪，不过我觉得这并不妨碍人类走入更加糟糕的2022。
