剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up.     保罗·施拉德新作，又一场救赎的幻灭。与[出租车司机][第一归正会]均以历经战争PTSD的孤绝男子为主角。奥斯卡·伊萨克演得恰到好处，与布列松的“模特”实而并不相同，这位与瑞士传说中民族英雄威廉·退尔同名的算牌天才始终散放着一种冷淡、神秘、既谦和清心又压抑暴戾的气场，而非被掏空所有情感的木头人。当然，本片与老布的多部电影确有相似之处——旁白使用和独自写日记（包含罪疚与神学追问）的场景契如[乡村牧师日记]，省略关键场景&杀戮时反高潮的画外空间运用似[钱]，探监时的两手相触收尾致敬[扒手]。1.66:1的日常窄画幅与梦魇中的VR/鱼眼宽银幕对比鲜明，凸显刑讯创伤给人带来张牙舞爪扭曲畸变的后遗症。迷离夜彩灯的旋转叠化段落非常绚幻。为所有家具包装捆绑上白布的仪式颇有象征性。这里的赌牌既精明克制，又是一种自我放逐。（8.3/10）
