The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 跟马力克比还是差了。比较出彩的部分是偏纪录片的一些片段，借了所谓的真实力量的光。那些所谓马力克式的镜头和剪辑、凝视镜头、科恩嫂的表演，都是按照独立电影的教科书拍法，靠着配乐制造情绪。
却永不坠落
美方，华裔导演女赵婷虽出自中国精英家庭，但其电影才华仍在中国难以施展。来到美国更自由的环境后，创作出了金狮奥斯卡级别的作品。无论种族性别，只要有理想才华总能在美国施展。

中年无奈版《在路上》 赵婷给在别人印象中狂野粗旷的公路片拍出了独特的细腻温柔 节奏把握很好 科恩嫂的表演又一次没让人失望
除去剪辑配乐和细节处理上缺乏想象力等问题外 还有大部分女导演都会有的一个通病：sentimentally melodramatic
真诚与真诚之间，有一段温存的怀疑。赵婷喜欢将镜头裹着倾斜与呼吸感，怼到她关注的事物上去。她的特写透露着一种关切。

这是不是首部关注这类不得不上路的边缘人的电影？
后来这个老太太被人举报，警察也来过禁止她在公园停车场过夜，她只能去附近的小学，或者在山坡的拐角过夜。她在公园附近待了快大半年，每天都会从车子里抖出来装fast food的棕纸袋的垃圾。车后座是几乎她所有的家当，乱七八糟堆着也像垃圾。最近一直没有见过她了，但愿她还好。
