The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 标准的警匪爽片。 很多的是想说，武打功夫片现在华语市场基本青黄不接，甄子丹退了之后，张晋，赵文卓这些都没有接起来，如果谢苗有想法其实可以考虑下，朝这个方向发展，当年他听了周润发的建议回去读书这个建议。现在来看不知道是否正确，当时投身拍戏，现在有可能是一代打星了。

谢苗有一些网大的电影还是可圈可点的，动作是很重要的一点，他有他自己的那种潇洒在，妥妥的动作片。
