The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 可惜了莉莉·柯林斯的神颜，演这种庸俗的小品，欧美演艺圈实在太卷了，大把的美人就这么虚耗美好年华～
故事整体过渡不够平滑，抢钱的被赶鸭子上架，多少有些牵强。
能看到制作团队对独特的民族风格动画的艺术追求，人物形象很生动，水墨场景很美，中国音乐和动画配合得也很好，但可能是受限于体制和时代环境，个人觉得故事和人物性格比较单薄。

以前的老中国动画非常具有中国古典的韵味，这种风格在90年代的时候已经渐渐消失了，现在的国产动画不是学日本就是学好莱坞。而且本片的人物形象鲜明，审美也还不错，可惜过于低幼化了。袁公就是中国版的普罗米修斯啊~

对于政治权力的隐喻太明显了，就如同大人和小孩之间的权力不平衡一样
2008//2019分别标记过，现在2022仍不记得看过，为什么看一遍忘一遍？我和这部9.1的国产动画到底有什么仇？带着这样的疑惑又看了一遍4K版，中途迷幻到三次差点睡着，结局戛然而止让人匪夷所思，果然是我无法看懂的一部电影：天书有什么好，为什么非要蛋生学会？天书带来了那么多混乱和灾难，为什么袁公就确信一个吃了老奶奶饼可以抹抹嘴说句谢谢扭头就走的孩子，一个可以粗心到把天书丢了的孩子，学会就可以为苍生带来福祉？我确实没看懂。
雖是給兒童看的動畫，卻處處隱含著對現實社會的批判，寓意深刻，意味深長。
一蹦一跳去吃鸡，
如果做对的事，怎么会犹豫不决。
“奇、趣、美”，“探民族风格之路，敲喜剧样式之门”；
每每看到“上海美术电影制片厂出品”这几个字，往往只能哀叹今不如昔。
結局算意料之中，lily collins在最後15分鐘才有表現的機會。
