The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很符合片名redeeming love，一场救赎，传统的剧情，绝对的浪漫。题外话女主身材好好。
尽管Netflix夹杂了一些私货，但（站在美国视角）杂七杂八唠叨了这个越来越撕裂又不得不继续的一年，不是挺好的吗？每一年都是过场，新闻娱乐化，有点英国式幽默，像是年终总结单口相声
经历过黑暗世界的人，见过真正的救赎与自我拯救，看到这部片子内心太震撼了~

十几岁的我会相信单纯的不求回报的爱情，相信有michael这样的好男人，相信一见钟情；但我已经不是十几岁了。

不喜欢这样故事的内核：真实生活中真的会有人来拯救你吗，扪心自问。披着外皮的玛丽苏小说罢了。除了毒害女孩从小到大的思想没有别的好处。
2020还有看喜剧的意思，2021已经完全是悲剧了
依然諷刺的文化觀察，2021年世界依然糟糕，希望不要有下集了。

玛丽苏到极致了，男主这优秀爱情品质也只有在那个时代背景下才可能发生吧！
无法跳脱的感受，21世纪的人回到200年前演了这部电影，但结局还是治愈的。
