The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 男主的扑克脸表情控制也很到位。
看的时候觉得这个片儿和《第一归正会》有点像，原来一个导演。
too concentrated，人物所处的环境是很凸现的，人在其中走总是想要去到哪里，然而没能卸下这股力，通道是紊乱的。
虽然我看的很懵,但是这个影像风格实在是太强了
算是蛮讽刺的故事。复仇和扑克毫无关系，但是也是人生无法像赌博一样算出几率
有电影的质感，画面老练，故事本身冲突有点儿突兀
选了打德州扑克的作为切入点着实让人迷茫。关塔那摩ptsd，主线隐藏蛮深，最后复仇的结局让人懵逼。不过看完好一会儿，才感到，后劲很大。
故事的抽离加分，但总体感觉上有点儿明显的刻意。赌场上的USA必胜叫人忍俊不住
7.5 导演拯救剧本。并非如通常般着重展现赌牌、监狱、报仇这样充满“男子气概”重头戏，转而聚焦情感的流动表达。
只拍了一个月就杀青了， 这个水平可以理解。
从头喊到尾的usa，最后监狱成为归宿，一边反思一边讽刺，像是没有力气了。

部分桥段的镜头处理跟《第一归正会》一毛一样，当然这部更无聊也更陈旧
让人昏昏欲睡的对白，歌好听但也铺太多了吧。感情线尤为莫名其妙，最后竟然还ending在这种指尖相印的画面…我对这类美式中年个人英雄故事实在是提不起兴趣。
没有那么差，但是本来以为是什么酷酷的赌博电影结果看到一半才发现是要救赎温情，前面半个小时真挺不知所云的，而且算牌扑克和审讯ptsd两条线好割裂。
两个以后必得影帝桂冠的男人演了一部什么电影？
黑色电影斥体制，噱头过后尽催眠。
又是布列松+救赎主题，施拉德好像一辈子都在拍一种电影。只是这种强烈的新教气质，真的不是我的菜
