The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情中规中矩，基本合理，就是太平铺直叙了一点。

一开始就知道剧情结局的片子，毕竟是看tvb港片长大的，但是感叹为何港片还没长大？致敬智叔！！

加一星给过世的智叔 无论他是不是在今年过世的 我都认为他是这部电影里面表演最有力量最好的

廖叔的最后一部吧 一句我自首把父亲的角色演的多么决绝
我覺得還是很不錯的嘛，尤其智叔的發揮，他個人肯定是場場盡力發揮得最好，遊輪上的戲，爆發力非同一般，那時應該已經是患病後期！臉上的憔悴都流露出來，也和失去女兒的父親這角色吻合！懷念智叔，實力派走紅了就這麼走了，是觀眾損失呀！劇情還有方中信、譚耀文我覺得都不錯，尤其喜歡亦正亦邪的譚耀文！
boss一出场，就知道是boss，全片就在等怎么扳倒boss了。
人物转变生硬，塑造不够立体，要是拍成连续剧就好了。结尾强行正能量尴尬至极，反而反衬出——有钱真的可以为所欲为，连让证人做真口供都需要用钱。智叔真的很拼，遗作都有好几部。
