因为阿伦·艾佛森，所以曾关注过76人队，也因此，对这部电影来了兴趣。与通常运动纪录片不同的是，这部电影的重点不在运动员，而在篮球作为商业运作对象之一时所呈现的林林总总。一方面，影片刻画了球探为了培养出自己的明日之星的努力，但另一方面，也表现了其商业面貌——球探可以毫无感情的出卖球员（影片最后）。所以，这项竞技运动，可不仅仅发生在场上而已。
