The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 推进故事的节奏很奇怪，孤芳自赏的感觉，导演一定觉得自己特牛，不紧不慢地铺陈男权社会的恐惧，结尾也是直接给我整无语了，高对比度的摄影甚至把英格兰乡村的树林拍出了星之彩的感觉。虽然千人一面的隐喻有点太直白了（本以为是《逃出绝命镇》那种的故事），但在今年已经端下柯南伯格的前提下，本片依然能贡献年度最让人震惊的cult场面，真是实属不易，看不懂但大为震撼了属于是。
符号是直给的，隐喻是表层的，但图像上绝对能载入cult影史（到后半段越看越兴奋。直接联想到阿伦诺夫斯基的《母亲！》一类强符号性的寓言作品，海报之一也让人想到《趣味游戏》，同样不断地对观众实施精神强暴。

居然有这么多人在今天凌晨看完整个cult电影。前面很美。
伊甸园的禁果，生育的解构，男性视角的透析。极度的厌男，一绝的视效。但确实有些偏颇与生硬。
心理恐惧，男权世界，一人多面，概念不少，但这电影也太白了，隐喻都成了明喻，氛围有，感觉无。最后的一幕幕真是…..，能明白为何这样，但不能理解为什么非要这样。
故事核很简单 结合了邪典 制造出现实与幻想的混淆感 恶心镜头是真有点恶心的
