The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 整体故事简单明快，虽然是日本动画一贯的套路，但胜在完整说完了，这对于现在的动画已经不容易了。角色氛围塑造不错，歌曲插入还算是符合场景，最后的飞上太空，别说还挺浪漫的。大河内一楼，偶尔的神。
歌舞还不错，哥伦比亚风情也不错。

AI都比人类感人系列·片里的AI简直智能超神了，大概是作者梦想理想中的场景吧，如果能实现的话真的是很赞，公交车AI驾驶简直炫啊！还有女孩的家中设备👍🏻！

主人和机器人相处时间长了，日久生情，这时候总会有人来破坏和谐气氛，最后经过重重困难，主人把机器人给救了，剧情常见于美国动画片。

7 吉浦康裕与大河内一楼的风格都相当明显，几乎影片前半属于前者，后半属于后者，成功的歌舞片。
