The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 想要拿到赎金，有勇无谋外加内讧肯定是不行的，最重要的是一定要在人质面前蒙面！
跟原版比，少了绑匪头目回到城里找爱人的情节，多了男主和被绑架的女子的互动…整体看来，跟韩国同类型的优秀影片比，不算出色。
整体节奏很紧凑，不过最后部分的剧情设置太中二了！
为什么不是绑架马东锡呢？说实话没有刘德华那个版本好看。

青龙影帝演技完全没问题，但就先入为主的概念来说，翻拍的不好。韩化的画蛇添足，很多硬伤，缺少真实感。
翻拍得毫无亮点，又是靠民子一个人撑起的一部电影
演王千源那个角色的小哥全程一个表情，这不行啊，特别是去自首的那场戏，咋回事啊怎么一点胸有成竹的表情都没有，难顶起来了

被绑架演员黄政民，凭一己之力，分化瓦解犯罪团伙，救出女人质，生擒匪首，囧。
“这里给男主加一场十五分钟的打戏”
一部改编自二流电影的二流电影，并且改编的不太符合逻辑。
可能考虑到无法超越原版，用韩国动作电影一贯风格，这种演法给予主演一点颜面。
1分，周围所有角色都被无限弱化，智商捉急的反派，虚张声势的警察让黄政民的角色被无限放大，直至演变成黄政民的个人秀，结尾高潮是对演员的再次消费，让整部电影显得异常干瘪，抛开黄政民真的什么都不剩了，连所谓的爽片都达不到
