The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 拍成30分钟的短片就好，108分钟实在是絮叨冗长。
主题与形式的闭环很完整，片面刻板但能自洽。只是真的晃得人头晕，看到结尾字幕如释重负

电影以上层杀手之死与警笛结尾，“我会去找你”是最后的告白。正义未被伸张，冤魂未得到安息，也正有人遭到迫害，压抑、没有希望、没有出路……
有一些细节没看明白，如果拍成电视剧估计会更有意思一点，加入更多的感情戏和侦破桥段
在灼烧与刺痛的世界中感受生命的流动。是一个奇情故事，但又感受到了生命与爱，很奇观化的叙事和风格杂糅，不过不算我的菜。

不要被血浆吓退错过一部好片，其实是把自我意识觉醒，巧妙地套上一个女巫传说的背景，设定特别棒。女主用心声感受外界一草一木的时候，感觉整个人都通透了。

罗伯特与艾瑞克在审讯室里的这段戏是整部电影最精彩的片段之一，那种欺骗带来的悔意、恨意与说不出口的爱意的交织，克制而浓烈的情感渲染到了极致。
