The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 那个年代确实是时代迅速发展的年代，我看的更多的像是传记电影，去了解那时候人们的童年。

一个休斯敦孩子的“少年时代”和他的太空登月经历，没明显的故事线，但每个片段构成了六十年代末美国的生活风情画。很多彩蛋让不同年龄的观影者有身临其境的感觉。
也许我被欧美英雄主义或者说完美主义荼毒，看到俄国电影这种毫无圆满的故事是很压抑的。
