The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 有点俗……而且歌的确不是特别好……但还是被艾滋的死亡阴影和写作者的痛苦戳到了……虽然这两者也不新吧
当然，关于这种有所执着，有所梦想的坚持，如若能代入于观众的语境，那必然是很好的，只可惜主角身边一群艾滋患者，也让我试图代入主角时心有戚戚。
最好玩的是那段去广告公司做研究小组赚外快。-I don’t understand how u can take any of this seriously. -because they pay me. -money isn’t everything. -Well it doesn’t hurt. -are u sure about that?
rent的诞生背景在此
片子看着很过瘾，音乐都很有力，词儿特别到位，好朋友迈可那段看得眼泪汪汪。加菲演的好卖力！后来一搜发现，Jonathan Larson得了个怪病英年早逝，可惜！
工整到乏味的电影，歌也完全无感，加菲表演得太夸张，即使是真实事件改编我也完全无法共情。我一直在猜测，也许这是一部科幻片，《傲慢》的故事变成了现实，“倒数时刻”指的是世界末日，他没有时间了，因为再写不出好歌来地球就要爆炸了……好吧，是我想多了
因为是真实故事加一星，而且我还真的看过吉屋出售的音乐剧。整体是音乐剧形式的演出。

开始会想是不是音乐剧电影和歌舞片之间有壁（也许音乐剧在形式上会部分压制电影的视听表现），后来觉得还是不该让个体影响对整体的判断，纯粹还是因为片子本身乏善可陈。坚持追梦的故事每天都在上演，关键是讲述的方式以及它所触及的本质。可能最致命的还是加菲的表演吧，用力过猛但又自矜自傲的状态实在让人腻烦。

普通影迷打3分，theatre goer給4星。LMM導得算ok，除了情節有點散，技巧有些粗糙，但勝在情真意切。熟悉的RENT音節只從琴鍵傾瀉一小節，非常克制。我愛Joshua Henry~
轻易就能妥协
而那些强行想要扣题和拔高立意的部分，也因整体影像感的缺失而失效。
加菲尔德演得还是挺用力的，可总觉得他还是《血战钢锯岭》中的样子，没法跳脱成音乐人。另外对原型人物Jon也没啥了解，不知他好在哪里，影片中的歌曲，说实话，没有一首好听的，都比较一般吧，难以让人感到共鸣。
生理共情的结果就是眼泪更加充盈，要比情感来得快得多。怎么没人夸凡妮莎，又美又会唱，爱了。
你看看 其实大家都有年龄焦虑 但是最后我们发现 光焦虑没有用 还是踏踏实实积累输出 最后我们可能赶不上烟花绽放 但也算是蜡炬成灰了
