The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? It is old-fashioned but surprisingly timely, and its clean, spare style feels classical because it’s fluent and clear-minded. Eastwood seems to be one of the few remaining filmmakers committed to conscientious storytelling.
老爷子很起范儿，尽管动作缓慢，但一看就知道很强大，老少配的公路片就有点平庸，挺美好的，没有什么紧张气氛。Macho，是对硬汉片的反思。
老头没了年轻的锐气，好在脾气仍在。macho表演满分。
电影很工整，美墨边境完全成了老爷子大片的背景板，特别是有些部分是直接能拿去当广告的程度，在这方面东木还是游刃有余，故事上就偏平淡了，每次危机来临就瞬间结束，加上年事已高，驯马镜头也用了替身，不过老爷子的状态是真的好啊！
他们不会把细节事无巨细地讲出来，也不会过于渲染危急事件的紧张气氛
为什么那么多老少配的电影 还都那么难看啊？
东木还能保持这么高的创作力实在是令人佩服。而且本身拍出来的东西也不差，确实很温情，也很治愈。
老牛仔进墨记，以为会有流血大冲突的点最后都变成了有惊无险的小温柔。东木的又一部暮年自白，我不知道如何治疗衰老，男子气概什么都不是。但他最后怎么还有给自己写了个美艳墨西哥寡妇，有点好笑又有点无语。
人生就像东木和小男孩在墨西哥边境小镇度过的那段美丽时光总是太短暂了。
平静舒缓的叙事节奏，流淌出淡淡人生的心灵之旅，对老东木不能再苛求什么，唯愿他身体无恙，能够拍出自己想拍的任何作品。
从没见过这样慈祥的东木。墨西哥小镇让我想起了西部执法者里的乌托邦庄园。
醇厚、舒缓的特质弥漫在整部电影里，如沐春风。

在只会努嘴的小孩面前，东木的演技太内敛、深沉了，他们自始至终都没融在一起。至于营造气氛和解决冲突，老头连行活都不屑于使，直接一记「鸡械降神」给我看呆。
cowboy挽歌，骡子这次在完美的世界中运的是男孩，也是自己的往昔。老爷子对过去是无限怀念，i don’t know how to cure old,这也是他对自己的发问吧。感动，只要你还在拍片，我们就能于银幕相遇。
剧情各方面很一般。老爷爷90岁自导自演真的是厉害。今后应该不会再出来拍戏了吧
一个老人、一个孩子、一辆车，很像他93年的那部《完美的世界》，只是近30年过去，这部老爷车已经没什么油了，观影中我很难入戏，不是电影不好，而是东木太老。如果骷髅人能走路，大概就是这部电影里伊斯特伍德的样子，我甚至害怕一阵风就把他刮倒了。他比《骡子》时更老了，还那么艰辛的拍戏，我已经成了哭泣的男人。
