The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 作为一个有些抗拒Musical的人难得喜欢上的作品，虽然非常美式正能量，但是群像叙事、舞台演绎和main theme实在加分很多，在这样的日子感动于一些人性的美好也不错
是那种看了会感到幸福快乐的戏剧，唯一可惜的是作为一部音乐剧没有几段好听的旋律。

岛民们都好善良可爱。比天灾可怕的是人祸，愿世界和平。
非常好看的精彩的舞台调度，演员们一人分尸多节，在角色中间的转换也特别棒，就是一切都很棒。
女机长太帅了！！！尤其那段solo，高亢婉转，余音绕梁呀！！
戲劇節奏太好了，內容也很豐富，有溫情有恐懼有隔閡有反思，不同的人可以看到不同的東西。

人文关怀满分！就是旋律不太抓耳，欠那么点儿意思。
被故事打动，在这个世界日渐隔绝的时候，这样一个基于真实故事展现人性之美的音乐剧真太棒了。不论来自于哪个国家，文化，宗教，这一刻我们都是islander
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。

人类永远的命运共同体。爱与包容是黑暗中的光明会指引我们到底新的彼岸。疫情之后再看感受更深，我相信人性的善与美好会驱散心中的恶与隐瞒，这不就是人性之光嘛。
挺感动的。在现有体量和形式下做得够好了…（音乐剧本身就很难把内容做得特别深）这个戏本身也像911事件中的甘德一样提供了近乎乌托邦式的美好、友善、温暖。对于戏剧应该如何改编真实事件，和当下产生互动还蛮有启发的。
我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。
