The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 简单的舞美和巧妙的设计，让每次转场都顺利又神奇。在大时代震动下的每一个小人物的故事都是如此动人。
它没有明讲"9.11"——但所有观众都很容易猜出这个背景。然后从一个不被大众熟知的视角——38架飞机迫降的小镇去讲这件无人不知的历史大事。
以911为背景，讲述发生紧急事件后“幸存者”的体验与故事。角色塑造的大多比较丰满，印象最深刻的是女机长的故事。整个舞美、故事情节、服化道都做的不错，能感受到每一位演员为这个音乐剧付出的努力。
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
其实历史永远不应该只有一面
背景讲的是911事件，航班滞留纽芬兰小镇上的故事。同班演员，既是小镇居民又是航班乘客。不同的角色就有不同的感觉，一秒切换毫无违和，演员太棒了。另外故事的表达也是很立体的，贴近现实。虽然因事件会带来偶然的美好，但事件产生的影响不会轻易消灭。

超棒！在疫情时期和911二十周年之际，很有力量的一部人性音乐剧❤️
剧场版观影顺序：
飞机撞向大厦导致领空关闭，疫情蔓延全球所以剧院停业。偏远小镇的居民给予外来乘客最大的善意，911二十周年的官摄弥补天桥未能上演的遗憾。在这样的双重意义下，CFA所展现的美好品质更显得弥足珍贵。
剧情很棒歌也好听，没有刻意煽情真的太好了，真实事件下的人性光辉
在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。
