The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 比预想的好看一点，不过太容易猜到下一秒剧情了，床戏还可以。
完成度相对较高的一部结合同志和犯罪的片，很难不得不让人相信在那样的大背景下的同志生存环境是多么的恶劣。
导演不是在讲述一个发生在黑暗时代的同性恋罪案故事，而是将一个同性恋故事用那样的时代来做背景，包装于一个侦探故事中。导演太关注其中同性恋的内涵了，予以太多的强调，让一桩真实事件变得并不真实。

正好玩儿完荒野大镖客2，简直就像在玩一个支线任务，深藏不露传奇一生的老农民，归田园居被逼无奈杀四方。

转折和感情生硬得不得了，男主和女主的亲密镜头都比和男二多
阴冷色调，暖色柔情，上次看类似的铁幕电影还是《残影余像》。剿杀风信子。。。看科普还是近几年反潮的趋势。
