The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 路西恩去买了份报纸，报纸上说犀牛人逍遥法外。
母亲对孩子望子成龙的爱成为一种罪孽。女孩孵化的小鸟为了女孩，褪去羽毛和长喙变成了“人类”，但同时小鸟内心的“恶”也被无限放大，为达目的四处作恶。这不就是那些打着“一切都为你好”爱孩子的旗号，其实更爱自己的故事吗？
女儿是替妈妈孵化了这颗蛋吧，看样子妈妈要把这只乌鸦养大了……
比起新世界 差太多了。故事讲不清，人物做不实，关系展不开，反转不惊喜。
