不再只是tv时对一个男孩的心灵补完，重写了旧剧场版时男孩和女孩的结局，即使有了更多预算还是回到最初的构想，从封闭的内心迈向了更广阔的世界，重新相信爱与希望，不负二十多年的等待，这不仅是给观众一条成长的道路，更他妈是庵野秀明本人的成长与补完啊。
