The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 并不是所有的武侠都需要快意恩仇，为国为民。最后的妻子有点想起剑雨里的女主。这么说来，当时看完以后觉得也就还行的剑雨，反而成了这些年武侠的巅峰。自己可能是属于最后一批见证过武侠辉煌的人了，以后不知道是否还有武侠片看了。
风格武指还行，剧情及逻辑有点突兀，这十来年好的武侠片很少。
影片打斗场面写实，台词简单明了。值得一看！

人物上，林大卫扮演者跟宋洋好像呀！俊 酷！ 千人斩有点儿《绣春刀》里周一围的意思，不过外貌 演技都稍稍略逊一些。
有点《关中刀客》的感觉（这里不剧透）。
向传统武侠致敬，刀刀见血，没有那么多废话，不象现在的那些仙侠片，飞来飞去，叨逼叨逼，磨磨唧唧。刀出手就是要吃肉喝血的。故事没啥新意，吃技术饭的小林被信任的老大老陆坑了，不过是老陆看上小林媳妇了，十年流放没换来小林的醒悟，最后还是被老陆当刀使了一回。不过影片为了政治正确，终究没让老陆获得善报，也算是圆了善有善报的因果轮回的美好意愿了。动作打斗的场景推荐朋友们好好看看，怀念最后的剑圣于承惠

为了个片名看了这部电影，陆谦是个人才呀，有理想有抱负，有策划能力。
话说这部电影套用了很多林冲的桥段啊！

武侠味十足，虽然装叉味也十足，但是，这是多久没见到过一部像样的武打片了？必须鼓励一下。
故事情节清晰，对白简洁不矫情。画面也很简单，蛮美丽的。比很多院线影片好看。杀来杀去，最大罪魁快手县令、捕快头都没事。一群小喽啰为了生存死战。
