The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 故事剧情不复杂
十分应景地在深圳和三个潮汕朋友一起看了这部电影，三个人都看哭了。而我，作为外省人和旁观者，对于不熟悉的文化背景和这种过深的家庭观念，虽有感动但并未被触动太多。
好棒的电影哦，感觉挺有生活气息的，我喜欢他们家潮汕的那种房子，自带庭院干干净净的样子
虽然没有明星流量明星，但是好看，朴实，真实。看这样的片子，至少还可以了解一个地方的风俗民情，至少看着很舒服。

质朴的作品，有风情，有诚意，有情怀，但故事层面还是普通，笑点虽密但大多局限于潮汕语言梗上，情节的推进也较为一般。
妈妈演的是最好的。婚姻问题和家庭文化问题混合起来写作的关键，就是矛盾出现了，要知道到底哪个问题才是最重要的问题？两个人在一起的核心到底是啥呢？
