The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然没看过原版，但是这个版本真的很好，同时也很美国、很美国梦。温暖感人背后虽有些剧情上的套路，但是不妨碍“coda”这个极具人文关怀的选题的巨大价值。关于隔阂，关于家庭，诠释得很细腻很戳中人心。
