有点不像Aaron的感觉了，演员阵容真的很不错，要没他们，恐怕会比茉莉还要垮。美式主旋律现在面临巨大危机，都到连索金都无法挽救的地步了。个人觉得，索金还是专注美剧吧，电影真的需要非常适合他的题材，否则就是这个不上不下的样子，毕竟是舞台出来的，对镜头语言还缺乏一些空间上的想象。
剧本和剪辑确实漂亮。通过庭审过程中的不断闪回，逐步勾勒了和平抗议如何变成了暴力冲突，没有浪费笔墨在还原冲突本身上。
