The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比较一般的女性传记电影，断断续续看了三天才看完，不知道是不是看的版本翻译也不太好的原因，总之各方面都很打折扣吧。

在各种MTV中穿插着故事的这部电影，的确让人大开眼界了。一个原本出生高种姓家庭的女孩因年少无知被卖到妓院，但她意识到已经无法在回归自己的日常后，不是以泪洗面，而是在现有条件下奋起，仅凭这点就很厉害了。其实对影片中讲到的合法化，肯定不能作为一个可以被认同的价值观，但这个台阶之所以下不来，也是因为电影立意过高了，我倒认为甘谷白这一提议完全是为自己生意考虑。她能在那种环境下成为top，仅凭高尚怎么可能做到。
