The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 我本来以为这部电影主打亲情
有点用力过猛，全程都在努力绷着藏着，通过人物情绪和关系状态（甚至依赖Greenwood的配乐）去推动叙事，原著文本压制住了影像，不过有几场戏单拎出来还是拍得挺厉害。
这种电影太好哭了。觉得自己可以对工作、生活可以再上点心。

今年威尼斯节最佳导演奖获得者，女导演简.坎皮恩就是28年前与陈凯歌的《霸王别姬》共同分享戛纳电影节金棕榈奖的人，那时她的作品是《钢琴课》。本片根据美国的小说改编，写早期美国西部牛仔生活，也可谓写了个“男同”的奇情故事。导演厉害处在于其极度含蓄地控制力，以及在细腻的人物刻画中显示的功力。只是平淡地敘说很难引起观众的共鸣。男主演卷福的表演出色。
文牧野导演一如既往地稳！剧本扎实，节奏利落，人物群像圆润有棱角，鲜明到位。易烊千玺和哈林真的的共情能力太强了，我整个被代入进去了，有泪有笑！笨小孩也可以创造奇迹的，我信了！

看这部电影，整个下来就一个感受，就是流畅，就像看一个成熟的学者还在用“问题提出-研究方法-研究思路-研究结果”，这样的八股套路写论文一样，不出彩，但是整个下来很顺，理解起来也不难，该催泪的地方催泪，该振奋人心的时候振奋人心。不能说全是技巧，没有感情，但是确实在技巧这块，文牧野可以说驾轻就熟了。
致敬平凡而不甘于平凡的人
但这电影真的就是一个《奇迹》，毕竟现实中哪来那么多好人呢，而且这也绝不是一个普通人的奋斗史。

有很多场好看的戏，有笑有泪，单独看没问题，但串连起来并不成立，甚至有复刻《药神》的嫌疑。
很工整的作品，剧情没什么亮点。
