The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 剧本整体是有港片味道的，尤其对于看过《律政强人》的来说，本剧一直被调侃为律政强人的影版后续，只不过，张强仍在，与其对决的却不是KC了。

不少港星老戏骨。凶手接受采访时那帮记者群演太不专业了。一个警察转移证人太假了。开头时口口声声说法律是信仰不是生意的人，最后也要放弃，这也是为什么他连输12场的原因吧。结尾处的自白是唯一亮点“为下一代维持一个不论贫富、不论身份，在法律面前人人平等的社会”。这时廖启智的眼睛从侧面看是泛白的。
这不是一部让你觉得好不好看的电影，只是给一直喜欢香港电影的人解闷的电影
如果死去的女孩不是富豪家的孩子，这场审判可能就没有转折了。

律师的操作应该违反职业守则了吧
简直不像是港片，有点失望，案件不够精彩，律师们的表现也一般般，暗走偏锋也激不起任何情绪，大概是这个电影缺乏了情绪。
完成度不错的港片了，香港电影里却是一直在讨论现实和公理的问题，不过如今很多港片已经都在描绘精英，而少了以前的草根和市井了…

随着香港法制基础的加速被毁，以后这种法律撒手、权位斗法的故事，会不断上演。
至少找个不是法盲的编剧来写法律戏吧，这庭审基本可以算是看过的法庭戏里面最傻逼的，一板一眼却感觉比白面包青天里的还搞笑
方中信，曾江，廖启智..........一众演员演技都很好，即使这剧情没有多大的意外
