The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 原著很喜欢，比起老版确实多了很多时代特色，风景很好，达妹特别美，叙事方式一开始觉得耳目一新但看到后面又觉得改编的太用力而显得奇怪，总体差强人意吧，主要是喜欢简奥的书，希望她有限的作品都能有更多优质的重新演绎

一开始觉得女主角不是心中安妮这样狡黠活跃的性格，看到后面，女主角不一直自白认真投入人物本身时觉得演绎得又毫无问题。结尾真的幽默又美好
220130 - 剧本逻辑太差，Ghostface大兄弟身娇体软易推倒造成奇怪的笑点，血浆太少，反正全程基本没被吓到，我最怕的jump scare都不吓人了，反而那对母子把我虐到哭了一会，就离谱。我都已经在乎逻辑到对“在电影院看恐怖片”无所畏惧了吗……？想找好看的恐怖片是我的错还是世界的错？（。
没有看过原著，喜欢简奥斯丁创作的故事本身，喜欢达妹的演绎；遇见了很多优美动人、引人思考的词句。但男主让人很出戏，甚至在艾略特表哥出现的前几幕，一度以为剧情会向着《唐顿庄园》第一季里Mary和大表哥那样发展，安妮会重新迈入一段新的爱情故事……
简奥斯汀里最喜欢的一本书。现代版，虽然节奏感流畅度赶不上2007版，但是挺可爱的。
女主是五十度灰女主哇，我看得总是有些跳戏😭
只能说一般般，有些闷，男主如果再帅一点就好了。
6.8分。美国恐怖片的粉丝同人作品，从《恶魔书》到乔丹·皮尔，早年的杰森和麦叔甚至《惊魂记》也要Cue，还内涵星战8。不过现在的年轻演员不如以前质量高了，第三幕的影迷为Motive实在是太疲软了，1996年的比利·鲁米斯和斯都·马彻实在是在我心中留下了太深的印象。这部粉丝的同人作品，要比《黑客帝国4》的“原班人马”要认真的多。
处处反套路的套路，不断预判观众的预判，惊喜还是蛮多的。
真女性电影啊这部，女孩儿们团结的胜利。
【B-】冲着讽刺《星战》极端粉这点多给一星。第一幕和第三幕拍的很不错，特别是第三幕对白、剪辑和情节编排的水准都很高，可惜第二幕让角色降智的情节写的实在是让人疯狂吐槽…而且看的很愤怒。如果不是这第二幕拉分，可以给到四星。求求你们别再拍续集了……让这些角色就幸福的去过自己的生活吧…人家都活到第5部了还要杀掉又是何必呢？
还是蛮好玩的，各种对这个系列和经典恐怖电影的自嘲，用戏中戏对第一部经典场景的致敬，人物网络的构造也十分有趣，老三人组的回归虽然感觉是炒冷饭但也很欣喜，结局的“for wes“也是最大程度感谢这位恐怖大师了吧，尽管还有蛮多常规的套路和杜威死时的降智操作，但在我看来真正意义的续集不再是回到过去，新老交替的预示则是告白过去，或许这个系列真正的完结就在这里了吧。“这一次，真正的赢家将是粉丝们”
这个系列拍到现在谁是凶手已经不重要了，看的是里面的吐槽、互文以及自我解构
影片很好的延续了惊声尖叫系列的优质特色，融汇现实与电影，让恐怖片影迷总能会心一笑，对作品倍有好感。本作在人物关系、凶手设置、案发现场都很好地致敬了该系列的第一部，甚至通过人物的台词狠狠地夸赞了第一部乃至整个系列，这里应该用力鼓掌。
看了评论有点懵，首先他们一家的饭馆就是会长当初给他们使用的，只是口头承诺会给用十几二十年，所以女孩父亲就自己贷款加盖了二楼，现在会长没有在承诺的期限要收回房产改建高尔夫球场，所以女主爸爸就去理论，接着就抢车发生了车祸，我个人觉得会长没有那么坏，前提还好心帮助他们一家，可是女主父亲自己嗜赌成性，导致家庭困难，员工工资也欠，再说女主本身就是不良少女，影片有个细节，就是女主每次想施暴的时候就会露出纹身，一方面是想吓唬别人，另一面可能给自己增加勇气，影片中没有绝对的坏人，而女主一家也不是像大家评论的弱势群体吧
政治正确极度影响观感…不伦不类…女主比原著美，男主真的丑…
我倒是觉得达妹很适合演Anne这种内敛又睿智的角色。喜欢这个改编，又想看一遍小说了。
我喜欢这版的改编，虽然主要角色里出现华人和黑人真的蛮吓人的，但是改编的整体现代感觉我喜欢。女主的俏皮讽刺性格确实不像原著更贴近Liz，但是看的很轻松愉悦，和男主的眼神火花也是有的。大改原著的现代视角观感不错，我觉得也就可以了。
世界上需要更多像惠英一样敢正面刚，甚至举止恐怖的底层女性。受压迫者最好的崛起方式，就是不停地被打倒、不停地站起来。
