轻巧灵动的青春小品，讨喜的是议题很大但触角很小。宗教取向与少年成长没有形成庞大的负担就已经讲完了，但同样会显得浅尝辄止。亚裔女闺蜜形象酷酷的，虽然设置成lesbian实在是有点刻意。
故事其实挺残酷的，但拍得很轻巧，导演竟然是一个完全的新人，主演特洛耶希文对我而言，也完全是新人，从没看过他之前任何作品，但表演真是不错。顺便一提，影片的音乐也很棒，非常契合夏天
