The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 1.奥斯卡史上第三次将最佳影片颁给翻拍电影（之前两次是1959年上映的[宾虚]与2006年的[无间行者]），比及这两部作品及今年颁奖季其他几部佳片（[甘草披萨][暗处的女儿][犬之力]），本片无疑并不怎么配得上年度“最佳影片”的头衔。2.主要问题在于，大部分时候的电影语言都了无新意、缺乏强度。剧本也断乎不算上佳，最后的解决方式虽温情可人却简单粗暴，在家庭依赖/束缚与觉醒追梦的核心主题上也挖掘呈现得不够，有些元素剔除掉也不影响主线，比如女主与二重唱搭档的恋情。这碗鸡汤也因此看起来童话色彩过重。3.不过，必须承认，影片依然能给出一场流畅美妙的情感之旅，动人的歌曲和精湛的表演也不可小觑，整体上至少比[绿皮书][无依之地]更真诚。4.艾米莉亚·琼斯非常灵，歌喉也让人难忘。5.学校演出上骤然的消声（主观声响视点）用得妙。（8.0/10）
虽然没见过下弦的真正实力，但光从无限城的恐惧来看，累的实力觉得都可以超越下弦鬼了。
一部制作精良的“心灵鸡汤”式的电影，聋哑人家庭里唯一正常之少女的成长，是其独特魅力所在；几位真正聋哑人的表演更是添彩！虽然它是旧片翻拍，但仍旧获得了今年初，圣丹斯电影节评委会大奖及观众奖，被新成立的“苹果TV+”用2500万美元购买，可见其市场之潜力。
这么精良的制作和资源给了这样一个毫无特色的番，凑一凑再发剧场版回血，是不是现在的好故事太少了。
做一些无意义的事也是青春的一部分！热血到我了，爆哭
实在受够了角色动不动陷入无限回忆，也听够了“羁绊”这俩字儿。打斗尚可一看，类似剑+魔法加成伤害，没啥新鲜的。
剧集中间最引人注目的一集，情绪饱满的一场猎杀。
时间不可能陪伴你悲伤。好久没看过热血又感动的动漫剧场版了。

又是一部拿TV版剧情剪辑起来，糊弄观众的所谓"剧场版"
8.5 虽然挺幼稚的吧 但是真的是青春热血且极富有意义
画面一如既往的燃，也有一点泪点，有点不喜欢蝴蝶忍，表面光鲜靓丽但是操作可太过腹黑了
我觉得不行，以往都是春日班团结对外，这个是对抗感觉变味了
总集片，比tv版讲的更简单明了，也不知道为什么这一家子相处这么不愉快妈妈痛苦妹妹也很可怜哥哥不知好歹
