The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事稀松平常，但讲武侠它是认真的。没有扭捏煽情，不多的儿女情长，都只为讲好这段拳脚刀枪的快意恩仇，这才是江湖。
被里面的武打设计惊艳到，如果剧集也是如此那真是用心了，这个武打动作设计放到大银幕看效果也不差。主创也尝试在融入更复杂的武侠世界观，没有二元对立的绝对恶人，只有观念相同但实施方法不一样的江湖人，以至于每个角色都有值得深挖的多面性。主创说要打造江湖群像，这种鲜明的群像让人想起港产武侠片，每一个配角背后都有一片宇宙。

5.结局好评，真实、黑暗而讽刺，这个风雨飘摇的武林让我想起《笑傲江湖》
良心制作，就是剧情有些单薄，铺垫这么多还是直接boss战了事
神tm“只有用秃的刀，哪有割秃的韭菜”。剧本弱吗？我没看过TV版的，但是我觉得，西门仁真的错了吗？他至死也没有觉得自己做错，牺牲小我成全大我对于想成为英雄的人来说有错吗？最后西门的徒孙突然想跟着漕帮干，真的是墙头草的作风，这个江湖确实就是烂到根子里了。
然后他爹被杀了，难道就没有心腹没有忠于他的人。
打戏第一
时代背景发生在韩国上世纪80年代，色调以及复古感让人有一种《请回答1988》的感觉
打戏真的可以，特别是最后一击那个镜头实在太强了！
