The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 正如片中台词所说，白左主义就是西方流氓，专干巧取豪夺勾当，直至一无所剩，吞食他们不了解的文化，然后在世界各地留下遗毒。被忽悠瘸的那些人，就如女主那般，任人摆布的棋子而已。

女杀手为报仇追杀黑帮大佬，遇上未成年女孩，和视若父亲的boss之间纠葛在生命的最后24小时之内迅速铺开，节奏紧凑让人根本无法分神，打戏一场接一场精彩绝伦。最后也是死得其所，爱和家族的传承和延续也让我有点感动。

作为一个爽片 为何动作戏略显吃力？ 如果不是有国村隼劈杀浅野忠信我会看这玩意儿？
还行吧，故事挺简单，一看谁是坏蛋一目了然。但是像Crank那样开场主角就死定的设定还是算比较少见。动作很流畅，力度差了一点点。还成吧，作为爆米花合格。
或者拍一个Kate的《24小时》会更完整些。
女主角竟然掏钱给了路人男😂，在女权主义、甚至过激的女权主义盛行之时这种大女主通杀的电影也就突然多了市场。
有几个亮点，比如日料店里的血腥插刀，砸碎玻璃杯cos金刚狼造型，最后大战女主黑帮老大式登场，还有选用的J-POP。但总体故事还是很俗套，死亡倒计时的复仇女杀手怎么也没有《怒火攻心》带劲。当然这些年所有的杀手片都不能和John Wick比。
除了结尾的动作场景有点撑不下去于是开始玩升格了以外，整部片作为硬核动作+女性主角还是颇具娱乐性。

一流水准的女性动作电影！优秀的运镜配色打光，出色的剪辑和场面调度，演员们水准之上的表演。
简单的剧情，血浆给足，出门直接给个 DEBUFF 先，结合日本国情拍得还算可以
记得好几年前听说过要拍梅津泰臣的«风筝»真人版，但后来出了吗？
就一个动作片来讲是合格的 // get到女主的飒劲儿（双子杀手时没有）84年的姐姐演个动作片，演技合格还能凸显出别样的硬派美感，那些讲求少女感的花儿们做得到吗！ // 霓虹文化加持+一日游构架，黑暖风比较戳我，额外加1星 // 怎么感觉5D一直在消耗自己……反派劲儿也暴露得太早了吧，让我对整个剧情都没了期待。（好在这种片子也不需要什么期待）
杀手女主要金盆洗手，然后就跟别人随便一夜情，然后就中毒了还有一天活头。然后就跟黑道老大的侄女寻找老大。最后终于找到老大。其实就不是老大下毒的，当时那个佐藤就说不是了，观众也猜到了，但是女主当时开枪打死了佐藤都不给人家说的机会。实际上都是女主的师傅和老大的顾问在搞鬼，女主真是打不死的小强啊，最后跟老大合作，各自都报了仇。女主各种受伤还中了一枪中毒太深还有一小时的命居然还能把师傅干死了，虽然故事禁不起推敲但是当个血浆爆米花看看还不错
