The IMAX "Cosmic Voyage" film was made as a public service with sponsorship by the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. On DVD, borrowed from my local public library, it plays at just over 30 minutes with Morgan Freeman supplying a pleasing narrative. As one would expect from an IMAX film, the image quality is superb and the Dolby 5.1 sound track is very well done. Simulated cosmic explosions shake your walls! That is, if you have a good powered subwoofer in your system. The film takes a very useful approach to examining the size of the universe, from tiny sub-atomic particles to the vastness of the whole universe. (Fortunately, when God created the Universe he had dispatched a few angels with video cameras at different vantage points so we get to see actual footage from several billion years ago.) The film starts in Venice, where the discovery of the telescope originated, and uses a one-meter hoop as a reference point, then gradually goes larger by powers of 10, e.g. 10 meters, 100, 1000, etc until we can see the whole universe. Then it takes the opposite journey, going smaller by powers of 10 until be see inside sub-atomic particles. The story is well-woven with beautiful effects created especially for this film. It is entertaining and educational at the same time. All of "oldsters" can enjoy it for the scientific history we are already familiar with, and all the "youngsters" can enjoy it for the educational supplement it provides. Overall a masterful film. Any numerical "rating" of "Cosmic Voyage" is meaningless. If one is looking for a superb film about our universe and modern theories of its formation, this one is hard to beat. 百老汇音乐剧这玩意应该是西方戏剧文化的衍变产物，看不懂，不过豆瓣分数一直都超高，大概有一些流行的附魅因素。
林漫威的自我投射过剩。。唱段拍得挺动听的，但离动人有好远距离，有那么多情绪充沛的时刻却至于看完一遍后没有任何一段留下印象
有点难代入，Jon本身的经历比较令人唏嘘。
三代音乐剧人的交织啊，天才惜天才。知道rent的创作者很早过世但竟然是首演前一晚？这也太鲨了……看见桑爷爷别说乔纳森了，我都想哭。LMM、大姐二姐的客串好惊喜，嘻嘻。哭了27号，桑爷爷去世了……刚刚还看到一个背后故事，桑爷爷角色是Whitford演的，但老爷子看过片子之后觉得味道差点意思就修改了台词并且亲自帮忙录制了给加菲的那段话，哭了
虽然不像la la land那么全面 但是故事好很多
毫无亮点。加菲的表演很卖力，但给人的感觉更像是自我感动。
一个勇者有过的失败却不失意的人生：即使不能拥有完美的生活，所幸追求过完整的自我。

终于看到一部94届奥斯卡不垮的了。凡妮莎·哈金斯唱的一首歌还是不错的。
想看Webber, Ashman, Menken的传记片
一開始是吸引人的，即便是屢見不鮮的追夢故事，和對歌舞片形式的大膽創新，和《安妮特》走了一條不一樣的創新路線，再加上一首首好歌、一把把好嗓子，感覺是花了心思、誠意十足的。然而，越往下看，越讓人覺得形式大於內容，時不時跑偏一下，時不時又跑偏一下，就像是直白地告訴我，精力就沒花在重要的地方，所以，無論是追夢之路、情感關係、社會話題，都膚淺地撩一下就跑，充滿了急躁、匆忙的觀感。
各方面都令人想要和《爱乐之城》对比。但本片无论是音乐上还是对爱情与梦想之间挣扎的表现，都差了许多。

Susan在屋顶天际边唱歌的时候我哭了，然后我以为柳暗花明了，但是生活真的好难，追求梦想太难了，艺术的无止境太难了。
70/100 是那种倾注了所有真实情感造就出的作品，只是其夸张的表现和旋律难以触动到我。
以一处音乐剧的形式讲述一个音乐剧届的传奇，恰到好处。另，也想问个问题，是不是有年龄焦虑的人都注定命途多舛？
错过，放弃，丢失，他像是Rent里所有角色的和，一无所获却也应有尽有。
音乐剧作家他的成功经历，看不懂核心那个东西，体会不到。没啥感触。有点像日本摄影师的故事浅田家，不知道他怎么火的。什么破电影，好电影不一定好看。吉屋出租首次公开演出的前一晚，男主35岁时因突发性主动脉瘤去世。看哭了几气儿。4.7分。
LMM首次做導演能有這個水平，他真的很有才華。這電影形式眼前一亮，展現musical行業的艱難，並致敬了LMM的知音Johnathan Larson。Broadway充滿有才華的演員，但有幾個能以此為生，感謝這些堅持夢想的人們❤️
不亏以前是一对儿，相隔5年，加菲甩出一部与前女友在2016奥斯卡风光无限的《LA LA LAND》同样高口碑的音乐剧！巧了，两部在豆瓣同样8.4，连片名也都是AAB格式。
