The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看过《王冠》的人，多数不会买账KS的表演，Emma Corrin诠释的王妃是真的神，但Stewart这版，依旧能让人感受到她以往僵尸一般的演技，我不知道为啥这版王妃让她诠释的那么矫情做作。电影本身就一般吧，全篇台词感觉也没有多少，值得一提的是，这部传记片真的是完全聚焦戴安娜，王室其他成员完全酱油，台词加起来也没几句。如果今年奥斯卡的女主候选人是Stewart和Lady Gaga之间选一个，那我选Nicole Kidman - “Being the Ricardos”

很多地方完全恐怖片拍法我喜，很好地传达了焦虑，小K再次杀我，她的气质就非常焦虑，真的选角大成功
也不知道怎么就看完了，这得是多无聊能看完这部电影、看了个寂寞
因为是根据真实悲剧改编，再现了戴安娜与英国皇室决裂的那个“圣诞节”期间的故事，也还是吸引人的。女主获得即将揭晓的本届奥斯卡金像奖最佳女演员提名。导演是智利出生，拍过不少历史人物电影。对历史题材有兴趣的观众可看。

虽然是套路性的东西，但没有不合理的东西，接受起来很轻松，院线上映至少也能拿个6分吧，唉~加油
粉丝向电影。对非优映的粉丝来说只是一个中规中矩稍显凌乱的喜剧。演员们似乎都已经定型了很难有角色上的突破，就看彩蛋比本身的笑点还容易“会心一笑”。比如，获奖蛋糕里面有“杀不死”和“异物志”，还有熟悉的获鹿方言。另外，石家庄人表示追车那段戏简直胡拍！最后催催异物志快点上吧
戴安娜本人也希望如同小k一样活出自我吧，哎。笼中雀谁不向往自由呢？

查尔斯的演员把“渣男”“王子”演绎地非常到位（尽管也不太像真实的查尔斯），小威廉演员长得有点像爱德华弗朗。

架空故事吧，王室现在真的就被随便拍了😅。权利下的压迫感表现得确实蛮好的，但与现实差距实在太大，带来的真空感特别严重，很难让人入戏。
剧情和演技都很mediocre啊…给我看着看着睡着了…戏里的华服倒是美得不可方物。最近确实没啥好看的电影😮💨

看到了一半K一半不是K所以表演还是不非常成功，但依旧很美。
