The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很好的题材，但是导演夹带私货，使得主角的主张看起来前后矛盾。真实世界的女主更另人敬佩。
对外靠人民军队保家卫国，在内发展国力也很重要，只有自强才能不被欺负。
印度的大女主片也是如此憋屈，泥潭里挣扎，找不到出路。很多人拿《甘古拜》跟《姊姊妹妹站起来》比，但其实根本没法比较，后者有自上而下的政府决心，而前者只是红灯区的底层自救，不管是眼界还是国情，都没办法要求太多了。

尽管本片与前作之间的上映时间间隔如此之近，以至于观众对近年来突然变成国内电影市场香饽饽的同类型影片产生了一定程度上的心理抵触，但是不论是从剧情衔接还是动画呈现上，都可以说是可圈可点的。第七穿插连最后仅剩一人报到的场景，实在令人动容，作为一份申论式的电影，三位导演合作奉上的这份答卷成绩可以说是不差。从致敬英雄的角度上来说，可以达到推荐的程度。
是一剂精神氮泵，看完只想为国捐躯。那时候的人都活得简单，国家，战友，军人的荣耀都比自己的命重要。
