The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 观感极差，从剧情到价值观都很有问题，也违背常识，有讨好动物保护主义之嫌，完全没了底线。小孩肆意妄为，家长一味放纵，爱能发电这种事，还是少点好。很难想象这么大一只犬类，没有经过驯服，就随意在街上跑动，多么危险，这如果加以管制就是不爱护动物，为何不爱护人呢？刻意塑造的反面角色实在奇怪，完全没必要。也有可能是我过了看童话的年纪了，完全不能理解了。

电源版实在太让人失望了，bug太多，葛优都带不起戏来。
本爱狗人士表示很喜欢这个故事，好正能量的童话。（为什么学校的漂亮女孩总是这么mean，这是刻板印象么…）

CG的狗让电影中的所有真人角色显得那么愚蠢，所有真人角色又让CG的狗显得那么虚假，两者的互动过程简直如贴图一般违和。
冲着共和乐队的歌蛮看的。。。完全没有任何笑点，特效狗子看着有点假，so childish....

沙发！剧情有些老套的儿童片，演员演技略尴尬，故事年代有些错乱，而且因为Jack Whitehall出演总有种脱口秀即视感。
节奏轻快，叙事清晰，一部观赏性故事性俱佳的国产电影，就国产片而言堪称佳作。辛芷雷的对白有点出戏，但是人好看给补回来了。
喜剧，红的有点假，看得有点烦躁，拆家一把好手
虽然是个普通过时的故事，但是谁不想有一只又大又红彤彤的狗狗呢！
合格的儿童电影，整个故事都在堪堪的及格范围之内，没有啥亮点
