The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 剧情不是挺好的吗？总之说的就是有关赛壬动手脚的剧情。到最后，罪恶被化解化为了爱。不管怎么说这部质量我是真的很肯定的
这部剧看的比较糊涂。自己猜的很多。在网上看了解说不得不说这部剧意识流很重。好久没有看到这么优秀的有内涵的作品了。对TV本篇不感冒。但这部真的推荐一看。甚至我觉得骑士粉必看。可惜的是篇幅少，导致细节描写不够撑不动剧情，导致影片逻辑性较弱。不过明显比TV好太多

原来中国是占有矿物和自然资源最多的国家，谢谢夸奖了。不过全片看上去好像只有美国一个国家，那可不可以彗星炸只炸美国，别的国家怎么可能毫无动静。
三分一分打给主角团造型，设计用心
内藤秀一郎老师的演技是快把我看哭了...（怎么演了一年多还这德行），拍的不错就是和本篇没多大关系
这个星球值得被毁灭；爱看新闻（美国）的一定看懂并喜欢这部与现实对应的搞笑但远不止娱乐的电影；巴什即使高科技公司、手机、也是财团、大数据，彗星是资源、疫情；讽刺了民众的娱乐至死、愚昧、跟风。美政府的傀儡、漠视民众、不尊重科学。女总统和男儿子对应川普和他女儿那个谁。杀死总统那动物发音像特朗普；演唱会那里出戏，应该是说明很多年轻民众你可能只能通过这种方式给他们传递消息。

吹哨人悲惨终局，老博士先捧杀再棒杀，政治玩家操弄民意，公众传媒愚弄大众，普罗大众娱乐至死。悲乎，我大亚美利坚国民。实际上他们也就笑笑，凡是还得看灯塔，套路+反套路，最终一起玩完，喜闻乐见，好像一次社会实验，为的是观众嘴角弧度的收敛。
迟早全玩完，你能怎么样？
对这部的感情很复杂。一方面对于早就知道人类药丸的小行星派而言，它这程度还不够，对于其余观众而言，它又是过于明显的气候变化类比。类似的末日讽刺片上溯至奇爱博士，它当然达不到那个层次，而且中后段就开始重复和疲惫，但它确实很让人难过。我可以对前两个小时的闹剧保持deadpan脸（因为那就是社媒日常嘛），最后10分钟意外温情的聚餐竟然让人瞥见了一点点人类的闪光——感觉这种临死之际的表现才是电影高光。（最高级的段子是开篇那个白宫免费零食，其他的就浮浅了。看完后我理解了友邻说的“拍片治病”是什么意思……这种愤怒宣言大概仅对导演一个人的心理复建有（一点点）效。

无辜的牺牲不可避免，谁都不想成为被牺牲的人，这个外传老实说想法不错，但他绝不应该是saber的，换任何一个骑士可能都更贴合
一群有钱人花了大价钱请了一众大卡司来拍了一部反思“金钱至上”等怪象的电影，怎么看都觉得哪里怪怪的呢...

第一次看这个IP的电影 开始时有点不知所云 但是最后山丘之王就躺在城墙下 为了和平长眠于此这里真的把我感动到了
