The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 影视改编的很哥特，整个寻找绿衣骑士的旅程实际上是高文直面自身弱点和命运的过程，其中的孤独和磨难表现得很有点存在主义的风味。高文爵士被砍前的彻悟很现代，

中世纪的阴暗潮湿泥泞，抛去了亚瑟王的光环，回归到了普通人最原始的人性本身，没有刺激的场面，一切仿佛窃窃私语娓娓道来

高文爵士在死的前一刻才配成为真正的骑士，这部电影重新拷问了我何为人生的价值。

既然由艺术性颇高的诗歌改编，倒不如极尽瑰丽音画，做一个奇幻中篇故事，倒比两小时似困似倦要好。
