The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. ……………….我后排的同人女都疯了……………谁还会爱你…………..傻掉，我们整个厅居然全是同人女( ´ ii ｀ )时不时后面就传来此起彼伏的奸笑，我这种老人家前面都困到掺了好几轮瞌睡。嘛，如果是犬狼在屏幕里摸胸胸我也会起立喷鼻血的。但其实剧情真的很、、水到不行，最让我嫌弃的点是竞选放的那个烟花图案淅淅沥沥的( ̀⌄ ́)遥想魁地奇世界杯那人山人海的架势，啊！该死的疫情！然后，还是多打一星给世界第一黄昏恋。血盟也没了老邓头一个人坐在外面别人结婚，心疼到（拍肩）蒂娜真的好美啊！！！所以说还是超级不满这个剧情都等了那么久结果又苦又闷，居然还丧心病狂到创造不出神奇动物了给我们这淘了两头麒麟当GGAD公开恋情辅助道具你们魔法世界怕是闲出屁了吧赶紧再造一个反派出来搞事情啊喂！！！
抱歉我真的打不了四星了。作为哈迷依然有点失望。与死圣描述即使不说背道而驰也让我觉得别扭的格邓关系，略为ooc的邓布利多，彻底沦为酱油的克雷登斯，杂乱的多线叙事，tina的无故缺席没有完美解释，以及其他种种瑕疵，实在是觉得遗憾又遗憾。冷静一点再来写影评吧，毕竟之后还有早已跟人约好的二刷（也可能是三刷，取决于周五晚已经买好不能退的票还要不要去看）。
情节无聊，情怀搭救。昨晚看完深夜了，被通知广州全区凌晨开始全员核酸，真是魔幻。

好多地方看不懂，莫名其妙，故作悬疑，价值观也不敢恭维，特别是有政治倾向，宣扬着如同儿戏的选举，把桑托斯映射印，刘X映射中，格林德沃映射俄，德国魔法部映射纳粹，暗示俄勾结纳粹破坏和平，暗示像印一样亲西方才会得到支持。。。总之就是恶心
本以为有了《神奇动物：格林德沃之罪》的票房口碑双失利，J. K. 罗琳和主创团队能吸取教训、力挽狂澜，拍出更好的《神奇动物：邓布利多之谜》，结果，这一部却成了我八部《哈利·波特》与三部《神奇动物》电影中个人观感最差的一部（要不是之前十部我都有在影院观影，看到这一部豆瓣才6.1分，我都不太想买票了）。期待的魔法、神奇动物戏份较少，取而代之的却是不少冗长无趣甚至与主线故事脱节的对话（小说这么写也许能丰富人物性格，但电影那样编排于我挺拖沓的），看得我一度困意来袭、差点睡去，都想倍速播放或直接快进了。此前费尽心思铺垫的麒麟以为后续会发挥啥大作用？结果，就这？我真是失望到了！邓布利多与格林德沃之间的感情戏也比我预期来得少！
主线剧情的话…讲了中年夫夫GGAD迟迟离不了婚最终利用合同的相对性靠命运第三人打破契约离了婚的故事，可见民法真的很重要啊（x
格林德沃是大独裁者的默剧表演，邓布利多是NPC工具人，延续的致命问题再次证明该系列过早被政治正确荼毒，空洞愚蠢的价值观输出，介于魔幻童话和政治寓言的模糊不清，死板生硬的情怀贩卖，毫无拓展世界观的野心，人物全员降智，一切机械的念白和剧情都把摆烂扔在屏幕上，全线2d放弃跃幕的惊艳，特效还不如十年前正传精致，神奇动物和魔法世界各演各的，像是纽特和忒休斯之间尴尬的表演，米勒是华纳高层亲儿子吗，每次瞪眼十分钟，然后出来做个演讲。偶尔发几段糖，填填剧情娱乐度，又拿滥情扩张一下人物线，再引几个少数裔或黑人出来，既不同人文，异域文化的谄媚也不奇幻，不过是英国男人卖腐走秀。可以拍烂片，但能把每一部分拍的模糊不清也是种本事，多出一星给水准正常的配乐，
官逼同死！（战术后仰）朋友们，什么叫官逼同死啊！GGAD这个神仙互动真能让我吃三大碗饭w 很意外几个朋友都对本期GG选角无感，我倒是觉得麦斯米科尔森比Depp性感太多了。除此之外电影很弱…到处都是细节断线，逻辑支撑不足，麒麟的设定十分多余，血盟解除和在两个阵营反复横跳来得太轻易了毫无铺垫…电影传达的信息量太有限，真希望能出几本精细的小说啊。
爆米花气质非要拍成上世纪默片类型，容易走神的又得不到有效转场提示，没有大场面轰炸又想体会人物感情的细水长流（邓布利多变成了个啥都知道的神棍），什么前情提要都靠啰哩啰嗦的台词，到底为什么坏蛋们不主动出击把主角团一网打尽？看了快十次了才知道导演大概想说啥，其实我觉得不可以要求太多了（真的比第二部好太多），果然电影语言是决不能照搬书的。//话说格林德沃真的好嚣张，选举完德国部长想和你握个手都被无视掉啰…黑妹教授把毒酒飞走那里好像剪了，因为拦住她的奥罗看着天…还有大家的发型为了配合纽特都变成一半爆炸头一半秃…我估计卡玛德作用就是大概把敌方布防透露一下和吸引火力吧，邓布利多那个门帘是搞个虫洞让他弟钻过来吗/虽然邓多多很凡尔赛地推辞了但在凤凰社一书里通过卢平之口得知，他后来仍旧当选了魔法联合会主席
J•K罗琳的魔法世界先把魔法和现实分离，再痛快的在魔法世界里天马行空，漫威的超级英雄世界则把超越常人的力量和现实混淆在一起，给人虚幻的妄想
神奇动物都是爱情故事，但……华生和汉尼拔坐在一起是没有爱的感觉的。麒麟和拔叔都更有CP感，那种怜爱又抽刀，简直是对待茶杯。无法歌颂GGAD美好爱情，为格林德沃换角惋惜。
夸不出口（。第二部的哥哥还看上去像是职高辍学会打老婆的体力工人 这一部突然变贵好多！像是会在贵族男高里霸凌nerd基佬的资本主义渣滓了（？
看的时候在想《神奇动物2》讲的是啥来着？怎么不接趟儿呢？看了一段发现，哦不接也没事，反正都不咋地
3)最后还是哭了 能去影院的请务必坐到最后 片尾曲不要错过阿！！！！
我的神奇动物在哪里？？？华纳可以的话请你拍个真·神奇动物衍生剧我都接受了…兄友弟恭一起妞妞是真的可爱！“今天还想象不到的事明天就会成真”预言成真…魔法的世界都是小吵小闹魔法棒更像放烟花可有谁还会像我一样爱你呢？
是因为被关了太久所以出来过于快乐吗？完全没有觉得很烂。
比上一部还无聊，唯一值得一提的是老邓老格的感情线。我觉得我多少有点懂那种感觉，开头的久别重逢，有温馨，也有责问：为什么我们走到了这一步，这么多年的别离，是为了此刻的重聚吗？结尾更虐，老格一人与世界为敌看向爱人，你痛我也痛。布鲁克林桥边众人大团圆，唯有老邓千山暮雪只影向谁去，生动诠释了一生中的爱只能有一次。
GG从来不觉得血盟会碎 他看到血盟碎掉的一瞬间的惊愕我的心也碎了🚬 （总体来说不值5星但是我觉得比2好多了）
