The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影只是拍摄出粗糙的框架，和情节，而原著是将十九世纪王朝复辟时的巴黎中的政治，宗教，人性，生活，爱情，活灵活现的描写出来，什么是阶层的差距，什么是贵族，什么是现实世界的规律，其中都有答案。
巴尔扎克的小说改编，画外音保持小说风格，故事疯狂，而且喜剧色彩出乎我的意料，一个对于出版社的反讽，而且保持资本本身“粗俗和活力”，显然作者站在资本一边，对于贵族是非常反感的，主角失败了，就是这样。
了不起的巴尔扎克，关于新闻的讽刺太应景了。本片也精心制作，不辜负名著。
＃Venezia78＃展映 还好，原来是Billy Boy的续集。特别喜欢电影能保持冷静克制的镜头，枪战也迅速果断。虽看得出时代对西部片赋予了新的意义，也是西部片慢慢消逝的象征。然后儿子角色塑造不成功。

surprisingly我挺惊喜的，可能因为预期比较低并且没看过原著，就像我在没看过The Great Gatsby的时候觉得改编的电影版很好一样
退隐的高手，叛逆的儿子，“连鱼都能追踪”的墨西哥人，满满一袋钱……西部片没有这些俗套的设定也就不好看了。

一百年前的故事和今天没有多少差别，富人的虚伪和底层对名利的穷追不舍也是一模一样
男主从无名到兴盛再到没落，拍得还可以，但故事本身并不怎么吸引人～
看完后的回想，才感觉到电影精彩的地方。没有冲击的画面，但是氛围很强。

有这么扎实的原著打底不可能不好看的。但实在没什么电影感（女演员好可爱，身材也很可爱
感想是，不要和依然秉持当年的三观的人们混在一起...
电影都是拍当下的，所以很难不开脑洞，太共情了。配乐很不错，看完得去翻原著了。
