The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
2001.9.11五角大楼事件后，美国暂时关闭了领空，数百架正在飞往美国领土的飞机被迫降落在世界各个角落的机场，而在加拿大一个无人问津的小岛突然间变成了38架飞机、7000位来自世界各地飞往美国的旅客的避难所。它接纳了母亲、孩子、同性恋者、不同宗教、不同国籍、猫猫狗狗、甚至还有大猩猩。小镇倾其所有，帮助人们度过了风云莫测的五天。

动人，十分动人。多视角多线路zoom in on人们在灾难发生时的真实状态：\机长/、镇长、中东人、教徒、母亲、动物保护者……Something‘s gone. 祈祷和高潮妙绝。Be a Newfoundlander! You are here in Gander town——结合严重疫情仍处于封闭时期的现状，我是被何打动而为何哭泣？
题材本身为音乐剧加成不少，耐听度我觉得一般般
2022年3月21日 我看完这个官摄的第二天 东航一架从昆明飞往广州的航班在梧州坠机 132名机组成员和乘客身亡 网传有一名乘客因故没有登上这架航班 不知道得知与死亡擦身而过的ta此时此刻是怎样的心情 可能就像911之后 所有人都知道 一切都变了
其实历史永远不应该只有一面
紧凑的编排让观众游走于焦虑，亢奋和崩溃的状态之间。

该剧本很有国际化视野，讲述美国911时，38架飞机被迫降落在加拿大Gander小镇，7000多名世界各地的旅客滞留在此，小镇居民的慷慨热情感动了他们，在这里他们找到了一生的爱情、友情，人与人之间由隔阂转为彼此信任，音乐剧1小时起进入高潮，后面全是燃点，音乐好听感人，感觉可以反复听好多遍，最喜欢女机长单人solo那段，太霸气了。
一个小镇接待7千多911事件影响下不能回国的人，温暖又感动！
场景角色无缝衔接，太精致了。

让我没想到的是，me and the sky最触动我泪点的地方在于，她慷慨激昂地回顾了自己的职业生涯，从众人眼中的异类到赢得世界的认可，个中艰难溢于言表，这时她忽然用温柔的语调唱道 “突然间，我结婚了；突然间，我成了母亲；突然间，孩子们都这么大了，”寥寥几句间流露出的幸福让我欣慰，永远斗志满满的铁娘子并不意味着要剜去柔软，有一个男人对她的美好的仰慕和尊重不需要去争得，从这开始我就泪崩了
