The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 男主唱这么多歌都不如女主一首震撼，当然剧情也说了这首是重头戏。
一开场Jon Larson介绍自己是音乐剧编剧时声称one of the last my species，到如今LMM把他的故事搬上银幕，this movie is a love letter from one Musical-theater writer to another.
其实我先看了倒数时刻的音乐剧，然后完全没看进去…这个改编已经很强了，Sunday那首歌全是彩蛋。顺便赞同那句人人都爱Sondeheim（跑偏了。我最最最感动的应该是最后那段电话留言，真的是Sondheim自己录好了发给LMM的，哭了
最大问题是没有拍出这个人物的特殊性和独特魅力，反而拍的更像一个纯虚构的励志故事，这是最大的遗憾。

表演夸张，容易出戏，无时无刻不在提醒你这是部音乐剧，然而我甚至已经不能被这样的「城市逐梦记」打动了……even though it was adapted from a true story...
命运啊、时间啊、生命的尽头啊…这一切都是难以捉摸又突然地降临。无法抵抗又无可奈何。
一个时代快要落幕。那么热闹的感觉，恍如隔世。
片中有很多眼熟的音乐剧演员献唱，但轮到加菲就断崖式下跌。

感觉演员们都老了，旧的人离去，新生命降临，有声电影必然淘汰掉默片，新时代的来临，每个人都找到了幸福的归属

艺术家特有的脆弱敏感和理想主义 jon是千千万万个纽约看似光鲜的人儿们 名为艺术做着餐厅侍者的工作 这是一种让我警醒的生活 但隐约还是有种意志 盲信 被痛苦敲打却不愿意彻底迈入舒适区 却时时需要placebo 最让我难忘的场景是jon在focus brainstorming 旁边一群正襟危坐的套装男女给出一些毫无创意的假正经点子 而jon的思绪飘到窗外 就是那一刻你明白公众宣扬的每样好东西都要有一定的欺骗性 灵性被商业思维淹没 平庸被普罗大众拥戴 你瞬间长大/workshop前一晚写歌 拖着电费账单怒吼 水池子里的脏碟子和逼仄厕所里的黄色杂志和猫砂 编剧也是太懂nfp/无论如何要保持健康啊！高产才有希望 jon larson和宫崎骏我选宫崎骏
放在电影里看是好看的音乐剧，放在音乐剧里看是好看的电影，即便能感觉到林聚聚还有加菲已经尽可能做出了最大的努力和尝试，但它仍然有点两头都不靠，这大概就是其尴尬之处吧。（但还是希望加菲今年能争取奥提！
生理共情的结果就是眼泪更加充盈，要比情感来得快得多。怎么没人夸凡妮莎，又美又会唱，爱了。
