The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 罗生门？还是金刚川，不明白一个故事演三遍有啥好处，反正时长是翻了三倍
简直是千百年来女性经历的故事。丈夫认为自己是英勇无畏的保护者，强奸犯认为对方早已臣服于自己魅力不过欲拒还迎。
结构上三方面对称，内容上并没有做到，主要是第二男主的爱情描述实在过于自说自话了。即便如此，依然不能说导演插旗在女权这边了，罗生门结构强调的就是对主观叙事的反思，甚至包括对女性话语权的反思。插旗的是观众，不是导演，就看观众能不能反思自己的主观叙事了。
《罗生门》式的叙事，在拍摄上可以取巧；第三部分玛格丽特的叙述最为可信，最后的决斗场面也很精彩。

个人年度十佳！斯科特老爷子功力依然精湛。两位男主最后的决斗，堪称近些年银幕上最令我牵肠挂肚提心吊胆的一场搏杀，然而，这份动容却不是为了场上的两人……
不就是欧美版《罗生门》吗。但是每个人的描述区别不大呀。大量的重复好无聊。

P.S.无论如何，接受不了有夫之妇出轨，就算老公对老婆不好，在没有离婚之前女人出轨，这个女人也是个渣。不爱就离开，不要一边吃着碗里的嫌弃不香，一边偷腥。选择婚姻就是选择忠诚。否则请不要结婚。

伪罗生门叙事！改编自中世纪真实事件，老雷把当今女性性侵题材融入他的史诗叙事风格之中，多角度的三段叙事脉络汇集成完整事件时，三位主角所代表的各自立场相互间的冲突显而易见。在两段强暴戏的重复，老雷主要强调强暴的真实性，也是对当今性侵事件的表态，但弱化了悬疑性，是为伪罗生门叙事。最后决斗片段加分，真实紧张，犹如亲临现场屏气凝神，直到决斗结束那一刻……
