The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 嗑死我了 但是真的剪的稀碎 动画表演啥的真的也很好
Bradley Cooper在我这里也可以归为演啥都一样的演员了，演得什么鬼东西？剧情也是一马平川，可以说是没有任何优点，啥都没刻画出来。这是什么幼儿园马戏团，美恐freak show那季马戏团才是诡谲深邃的神。很多兔子和Cooper同框的画面极其割裂，兔子白到发光，像是加了层虚化滤镜，而Cooper的脸又是原画画质，我以为这种镜头效果只有国产影视剧里才会有……
铺垫快一个小时啊！要不是卡司撑着真挺难看的
这剧情这节奏实在浪费了服化道，浪费了大魔王！刻意而无趣，只有传统电影的色调，好好的精髓都给稀释掉了。
凯特布兰切特是真拉皮拉到脸僵,眼睛细又长了啊，看《不要抬头》时候还以为是配合人物做了特效妆，而且接的角色都差不多,造型都像,演起来更是一个样,总是昂着头下颌线冲摄影师。另一位凯特现在可是甩她几个身位了！
色调很棒 但是太拖沓了 托罗又重回他擅长的奇幻风格 而且跟地狱男爵再次合作 大魔王1小时后出现 库珀演坏人还差点意思 奥斯卡最佳影片提名就西区故事暂时无源了 两部都是翻拍的老版
但接下来舞台挨拶，MAMO却说，感觉之前TV系列都是在书写青春，但现在已经在叙述人生了
一个衣冠情兽、玉面情魔的人物，和猩红山峰的设置像的。但这部叙事更好，有两个前后呼应，与“以前”的揭秘；缺点是两部同样是人物细节差点，只有叙事来支持，人设有但不丰满，库珀你也就觉得他好看，其他自私、不择手段都是叙事支撑。暗藏的大boss是大魔王，但以为的boss是鲫鱼啊，这选角和形象完全不行，感觉最多就是个管家。怪物最好的去除就是啃鸡脖子，前后呼应，但也是剧情的，没有那种形式化的描述就觉得不够啊；受过“恐怖表演”治疗的顾客都基本以死亡告终，所以最后的结局并不冤；2077拍电影，鲫鱼保镖适合演主角那个大个头拍档。
大家都在拿新版与旧版做比较，没有看过旧版，所以不用向经典致敬只谈我看到的这部电影。2个半小时并不显长，剧情和节奏都恰好，演员卡司也是可以的，镜头唯美中透着危险，至于故事，它很正确的诠释了“因果何曾饶过谁”的真理，不吹毛求疵的说这部电影很好看。
受不了了。最后是什么替身文学笑晕了啊哈哈哈哈哈。各种cp大乱炖，嗑就完事了，要说剧情，基本忽略吧
习得魔术用来与亡者通灵，诊疗病患用来窃生者之私。以为是用看穿的戏法告慰生者，却送了他们了断的子弹。佯装满手鲜血的表演解脱活人，却成了封印在甲醇里死婴的标本。试图扭转倒吊人先兆的塔罗，却还是逃不掉成为嗜血怪胎的命运。若能记得老头死前的忠告，就不会相信自己捏造的谎言，在夜路一去不回。
陀螺标志性的影像风格，前半段马戏团的表现力极强，服化道也精致的无可挑剔。但是这个故事。。。冗长乏味，Kate大魔王根本没啥发挥空间啊，感觉就是在努力向femme fatale上靠。
真的是悲剧，故事的调子非常的灰暗，画面的镜头也很灰暗。男主的一生就好像黄粱／南柯一梦，从地底上了天堂又摔回地狱。他很聪明，轻松玩弄心术，走上了生活事业的巅峰，因为太过聪明，受不住金钱的诱惑，自高自大，走火入魔成为骗子，又败露逃亡回到底层，一无所有沦为被马戏团吞噬的连小丑都不如的“怪人”。更多是一个人不踏实的性格的原因，欲望总是填不满，也有阶层难以突破的原因，布兰切特就是那个鄙视下层，游走在上层和下层之间，傲慢并玩弄下层的代表，法官是上层代表。挺有点《寄生虫》的意思的，但这个故事拍的非常的闷，各方面都还差点味道。看上去大魔王的脸也有点僵了。

片名诚不欺我，真·划水的一部。不过出场的人倒是真全，随便划拉一个CP 磕就完了
看到没，算塔罗的，玩通灵的，最后都干不过心理分析的，一个人命运的跌宕起落，恰好又暗合了玄学被心理学取代的历史趋势。
