The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 假面便装舞会这个点更有趣，卡司也是依旧华丽，不过案件本身依旧不复杂，拍出这个效果还行，主要是大神和麻酱很在线
剧情就离谱，但架不住卡司好，麻生久美子好帅。第一部演的啥已经一点儿印象都没有了
田中奈美实这个角色不想酒店有肖像画，一个看似刺头的客户 竟然最后跟案子一丝丝关系都没有… 这个角色完全为了建立长泽雅美的客户至上的人设，案子说实话一般般和夏天喝了一杯冰果汁一样，想回味但却感觉只是嘴里流了果汁味，回忆不起其它的了，木村审讯犯人的那一句嘶吼还挺带感的，长泽雅美去洛杉矶也是顺理成章啊… 小说有第三部 不知道电影还会不会有第三部呢？中规中矩抱着三分水准去看觉得还是不错的。
主角团每个角色的登场都分配了足够的时长来缓冲，虽然冗长但也让角色的塑造更加立体。
地味…..（以下有剧透）凶手给被强暴的妹妹报仇，羞辱警察的方式是疯狂杀女人🚬 以及凶手还不如设定成宝冢背景，歌剧/宜男宜女/女人都愿意为她劈腿/洛丽塔等等也都能串起来。以及一家三口➕情妇的设置也太草率了，演员本人都明显在发力要狠了，剧情把她拦下来了……无语
政治正确型电影 漫威现在盘子大了顾忌也多吗…… 老印做搞笑担当也太尬了些 不及朱莉的一句i already gave her the speech 最后囧的那一句i love you s(c)ersi让我忍不住笑出声了😁

作为漫威第四阶段一次大胆的尝试，这部电影定位特殊，风格与同系列影片相差甚大。
没看就别浪费时间了，看看抖音剪辑全明星露脸得了
故事比假面饭店略胜一筹，但是整个故事竟然是靠着女主慢了五分钟的手表撑起来的实在有点扯。长泽雅美的发型减分。
这个星球真荒诞，整天有人想毁灭，又整天有人想拯救。
麻生久美子真的太潇洒了,最后的制服很帅T的感觉。 男女主真的没有cp感，自从行骗天下以来，我看长泽雅美跟谁都没cp感。。。（我真的对东野圭吾的风格厌烦了
内容和推理还是很东野圭吾，很社会派。主要是真的能把服务做到这种无微不至的地步吗，向往又很怀疑，是不是表演的成分更多呢。最想吐槽的点就是搞什么测试，明知道警察在办案还要混淆视听，是不是没事找事。
比第一部流畅，但也没有第一部的支线繁杂。虽然推理最后还是没什么波澜感觉，但整体不沉闷，节奏不错。（主要还是主演的可爱加分哈哈哈最后四人又站一起了笑死）
推理（甚至故事本身就）弱但不错看，视听语言优秀，尤其喜欢住户们一一入住时的舞台开场感+警察酒店方各自开会对峙的两段，引人入胜，后半段有点拖沓疲软，但谁还在意凶手啥的呢，看木村大神和麻酱的神奇cp感就可以了，看到这些日剧熟脸一起大飙演技已经很过瘾了~铃木雅之的风格很好认，一秒梦回《律政英雄》，以及，果然专业剧中的日式纯爱永远令人百看不厌~
畅销小说作家都电影依然不能当成推理片看，只能说每一个系列的角色都讨人喜欢，阿部宽的恭贺、福山雅治的汤川，还有这部里的木村和雅美，真希望能继续拍下去，反正畅销书还会一直写下去。
一开始设定了一天之内，一上来各种密室、场景、线索和人物镶嵌，我就以为鸡汤少了，结果是我想早了，后面有的是。其实所有人戴面具这个设定，不管在视觉或者类型融合上有很多可能性，但呈现出来的是这种过家家水平的货色，实属说不出话。不过我必须给多一星，演反派的麻生久美子演的很不错，气质超级英俊和魅惑。
人物太多，还好每个人都各自有特点。故事尚可，世界观也还行，主题也明确，就是台词太直接
当个放松小品看看还是蛮好的，至少不会想退票（。Nov 2021@Emproer Central
有些无聊，即使长泽雅美也只是支撑我看完，两人比第一部还没火花。剧情推理也不够精巧
