The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 看完才知道是翻拍，剧情还是感觉有点紧迫的，但是不得不怀疑这个Joe是不是有bipolar......
大部分时间感觉有点拖沓，后面的反转有点出其不意，男主的性格太冲动，需要改一改
吉伦哈尔的演技个人秀，各种大幅度情绪转换和面部微表情，经历特写镜头的轮番考验，90分钟应该说是极限了，很难再搞得更长，情节和角色的构架也不太支持更复杂的设计与逆转。价值观层面过于强调结局的教育意义，连被剖腹的男婴都不死，是不是也太过分了。三星。

暗喻互联网上某些人不好好吃瓜，在不了解事情全貌的情况下就着急站队，把自己看作正义的化身，冲上道德和法律的高地去审判别人，最后打脸才如梦方醒，自己在现实里还一屁股官司呢，也尼玛不是个完人啊。
相当失败的改编，套用troubled中年危机警察人物模板，把男主的asshole度拔高了几十倍，过于asshole和self-centric以至于无法共情，忍了三十分钟忍不下去弃
