The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东木老爷子还真是不闲着，拍完骡子又搞这么一出没什么剧情的片子，一老一小一鸡走一路，还找了个墨西哥娘们在无名小镇安了家
东木老大爷真是劳模啊！强扭的西部片没有灵魂。
老爷子身体真棒，都2021年，还在做镖师。
重复，老套，无聊，中庸，煽情。好莱坞典型代表！似乎男艺术家人均恋父，女艺术家人均恋母！
东木大爷的电影得抓紧看，说不定就是遗作，他今年来拍的老人题材也是往这个方向去的，这部也是，但确实有些力不从心了。借着老人和小孩的戏剧冲突，东木也在讲述自己的人生哲学，牛仔，人终于要和自己和解的。
老爷子真硬，很温暖，很安静。突然想起自己很久之前“一直在路上”的梦想。
好简单安逸又温柔的东木，最喜欢墨西哥小镇那段时光。
稳稳当当的好 熟悉的淡淡的忧伤 不知道会不会是伊斯特伍德最后一部作品了 希望他一直拍下去……

够潦草，也够敷衍，估计东木的精力也的确无法保证影片的高质量了，自然规律无法避免。
从没见过这样慈祥的东木。墨西哥小镇让我想起了西部执法者里的乌托邦庄园。

岁月不饶人，东木真的老了！故事本身就是老套的剧情，还有点西部情怀的成分！越看越少的东木电影！
平淡無奇，簡潔直接，但結尾有點感動。東木爺子此等精力令我敬佩，有些許幾個鏡頭很有感覺，但估計是因為老爺子體力不如以往，沒時間雕琢。他現在就是想多拍。多一部就是賺，拍下去！此外，還有一些台詞；結合老爺子年輕時的精力；對過往是有反思的。
好像影射了些东西，但重要的是表达了对过去执着的松手，反而轻松的更沉重
