有关游侠（也有说是暴徒的）比利小子传奇故事的再续写，剧情简洁紧凑，迟到的悲剧宿命终就上演。本片还原“古法酿造”，将正统西部片再一次忠实呈现，荒凉孤寂，爱与热血以及死亡，以及成长，以及躲不掉的债，皆如牛仔梦回。
用刀明显更帅。处理尸体就是喂猪，太生猛了。

你要惹怒当农民的曾经杀手，那么你就会是被杀的那个人。
老亨利，邦尼，比利，活到现在不容易，年轻时大杀四方，脱身后想着隐居下来，安分守己种地当农民，把儿子抚养大。偏偏事情找上门，重现当年勇，杀了一大片，可惜农夫与蛇。景色美丽，节奏好。
比利小子还要和别人拖沓地点球互射有来有回，之前的气势瞬间没有了
喜欢这种不含任何夸张成分的西部枪战，纯写实的拍反而很有代入感。混乱的枪战哪有机会让你耍帅，哪有百发百中，哪有无限子弹。大侠挨枪子也挂，跑两步也喘，开枪也得瞄。在那种混乱的世界做个好人自力更生是最奢侈的幻想。
就是个西部片小品吧，真正精彩的就不到十分钟，结尾处理的挺好的，有一种不可饶恕的结尾既视感。不过整体来看还是有点平淡了，还好只有九十分钟。

比较老派的西部牛仔片，节奏较慢，但非常起范儿，只推荐爱好传统西部片的人观看。
