The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 仆人们最后盛装出席电影中的盛大宴会，都过了一把电影明星瘾。在造梦机器中，在这一瞬间里，阶级的壁垒不复存在，“人与人之间的善意”被发挥到极致。编剧朱利安·费罗斯真的不是一般的善人，连每一个仆人的归宿都安排得妥妥贴贴，把“一切都是最好的安排”也发挥到了极致。
本集主要讲了两件事，老夫人被刚过世的年轻时的情人送了一个位于南法的度假别墅，有电影公司租用唐顿庄园拍电影，却正赶上从默片到有声片的过渡。
很多年后，已故好莱坞著名导演的遗嘱里将一栋大别墅给了大小姐。大小姐的后人纷纷猜测其中一段香艳往事，最后大小姐会跟他们讲出这段发乎情止乎礼的感情：一个没有发生的吻，成了永恒。
山猪的加盟契机过于突兀，其它的特点比如鬼的能力设置，bgm和画面一如既往的优秀。

老夫人真的走了的时候我流泪了，但又觉得“make sense”，生命本来就是个轮回。但她的“陈年老瓜”确实是有点意思。

本吃瓜群众代入感强，老夫老妻的长篇小说桥段很受用，满意。
我妻善逸只有一招，但一招能闪杀一切，也能单挑上弦。是否太偏心了T﹏T
